Treadcore · the brain's numbers · 18 to 26 October 2026
Every number that steers the scripted brain is a named weight in weights.rs. This page is their record: how many there are, which defaults changed and on what evidence, and what each census read. It is the same data as the live dashboard of 26 October, kept here so the record ships with the code.
Every either/or in the brain became a weight that blends the two, defaulting to Paul's preference; the census then reads the value. The count only grows: a weight that acts nowhere is kept, and screened.
A default moves only on a census past two standard errors, with no map past two below, held-out reads where the rule asks, and make families holding.
Each dot is a census of one weight moved to half or double its default, everything else at the defaults; the bar is two standard errors. Right of zero, the move helped. Most bars cross zero: the defaults sit at or near the top of each weight read so far. A dot on zero with no bar is a weight whose move left every match the same: it never acted (LR 89).
Each row is one census on the census machine: the trial (weights changed from the defaults), its reading a seat against the defaults with its standard error, and its seeds. Green past two errors above, red past two below.
